黄蓉不愧是金庸同人的劳模，想之前无论是杨过，欧阳锋，大小武，尹志平，公孙止，贾似道，吕文德，还是其他原创人物，都曾和黄蓉有过可歌可泣的爱情故事，这回是霍都了，霍都之前也有过出场，不过大多是配角。霍都是蒙古人，又是金轮法王的徒弟，来一些双修之术，让黄蓉在理智与情欲中反复摧残，还是很有感觉的。黄蓉成为妓女，关键在于如何表现拒绝到接受，这个有些难度。
